Borneo- The jungle

After New Years, I headed to Borneo with Becky to check out the jungle! This is the view from our restaurant. It rained most of the trip.... but it was incredibly green!






This is a proboscis monkey that we saw on the jungle cruise. Yes, had to zoom in to get a picture of this big boy. They have a distinguishing nose and the bigger belly they have the more power they have with the others....








Thanks to Jason, I have found out a cool way to swap colors with my camera. I used the orange from our life jackets to put the color into the sky and the reflection.







We went to the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Center where they are working with several orangutans that have been rescued or orphaned. I loved this picture of the young male coming to the eating platform. They have 96% same genetic make-up as humans. Their brains are just not the same size as humans...
