After the jungle.... we headed to a small island off of Sandakan, Malaysia called Lankayan Island. One can walk around the island in 15 minutes. It is primarily dive resort, but I enjoyed snorkeling, reading, eating, sleeping and taking in the sun! I saw a turtle, eel, stingray, many fish (wrasse,urchins, sea cucumbers, nemos, small sharks, a black and white polkadot fish, wrasse fish, leapord fish and many more...)The picture shows what I did at the end of each day watching the sunset!
My favorite picture of this unique tree that has pineapple looking fruit, but I found out that one "can not" eat the fruit!
This is the jetty landing that will lead one to the island and resort!
When feeling stressed... I will just picture myself with this hat on the beach!
