Cont... of Cambodia

More pictures of Siem Reap and the ruins at Angkor Wat.
Yes, I played with the color in the background. Didn't know that feature existed!

Found this piece that had fallen and it became one of my favorite pictures!

Angkor Wat!!!

One of the many faces of the ruins!

Typical picture of what many people can balance on their bikes! Love coconuts!

Cambodia- Phnom Penh, Siem Reap and Angkor Wat

These are all picture from different ruins in Siem Reap and from the palace in Phnom Penh!

Lankayan Island

After the jungle.... we headed to a small island off of Sandakan, Malaysia called Lankayan Island. One can walk around the island in 15 minutes. It is primarily dive resort, but I enjoyed snorkeling, reading, eating, sleeping and taking in the sun! I saw a turtle, eel, stingray, many fish (wrasse, urchins, sea cucumbers, nemos, small sharks, a black and white polkadot fish, wrasse fish, leapord fish and many more...)
The picture shows what I did at the end of each day watching the sunset!

My favorite picture of this unique tree that has pineapple looking fruit, but I found out that one "can not" eat the fruit!

This is the jetty landing that will lead one to the island and resort!

When feeling stressed... I will just picture myself with this hat on the beach!

Borneo- The jungle

After New Years, I headed to Borneo with Becky to check out the jungle! This is the view from our restaurant. It rained most of the trip.... but it was incredibly green!

This is a proboscis monkey that we saw on the jungle cruise. Yes, had to zoom in to get a picture of this big boy. They have a distinguishing nose and the bigger belly they have the more power they have with the others....

Thanks to Jason, I have found out a cool way to swap colors with my camera. I used the orange from our life jackets to put the color into the sky and the reflection.

We went to the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Center where they are working with several orangutans that have been rescued or orphaned. I loved this picture of the young male coming to the eating platform. They have 96% same genetic make-up as humans. Their brains are just not the same size as humans...
